DEVELOPMENT OF ADVANCED PARKING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM USING HUMAN GUIDANCE
This paper describes the development of an advanced parking assistance system. A real-time high accuracy absolute position sensing system is used. The primary issues in implementing the assistance system involve the position sensing and human guidance through human interface. The paper also describes the sensor suite selection filtering scheme, guidance scheme, human interface scheme development process. A system prototype and experimental results are also described.
