EQUITABLE TRAFFIC ASSIGNMENT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL COST FUNCTIONS

This paper focuses on studying the effects that different routing objectives have on air pollutant emission levels at both network and corridor levels. It examines how new objectives and environmental considerations can be modeled within the traditional, macroscoic traffic assignment methodology. It also develops a new methodology for modeling the assignment of vehicles in realistic networks based on equitable principles.
