CURRENT SITUATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF RAILWAY SIGNALS IN CHINA

This article discusses the current development state, technical characteristics, and the existing problems of the railway signaling technology in the fields of signal aspect, signal interlocking at stations, cab signal, train operation control, dispatcher control over train operations, railway terminal signal, and signal foundational equipment under China's conventional transport mode. It also highlights the orientation of improvement for China's railway signal system to meet the development goal of raising train speed.
