MULTIMODAL TRANSPORT NODES: WHAT, WHERE, HOW AND WHO?
MULTIMODALE KNOOPPUNTEN: WAT, WAAR, HOE, WIE?
Multimodal nodes are a hot issue in Dutch government policy. However, the design and realisation of transport nodes is seldom a smooth process. The choice of the number of nodes and the choice of locations in a transport network are important conditions for success of the nodes. Furthermore, the internal design of the node is very important. It turns out that it is especially important to put the car driver central in order to attain good functioning multimodal transport nodes.
