TUNNEL MOVER GUIDANCE AND STABILITY
In this paper, the authors focus on the guidance and stability of a self-powered rubber tire vehicle that travels in an underground tunnel. The vehicle can run both on a flat road and inside tubes with a circular cross section. The authors describe a simple analytical model that is limited to two degrees of freedom, showing the roll angle and the yaw angle. They also describe an ADAMS model which allows for additional degrees of freedom.
