SHORT-RANGE TRANSIT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR THE WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREA
The Short Range Transit Development Program's purposes and objectives are detailed in this report. The recommendations include bus expansion and modernization, data collection, public information, bus priority lanes and streets, fringe parking facilities, dial-a-ride systems, commuter rail service, car and bus pool programs, bikeways, staggered work hours, and metro rapid rail construction. /GMRL/
