DEMOGRAPHIC MICROSIMULATION WITH DEMOS 2000: DESIGN, VALIDATION, AND FORECASTING. IN: TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS PLANNING. METHODS AND APPLICATIONS

This work details an application in demographic microsimulation, known as DEMOS 2000, that can be extensively applied to travel forecasting. U.S. data is used to help demonstrate the DEMOS 2000 microsimulation technique. Validation examples are provided that are also suitable for use with DEMOS 2000 in other applications.
