IMPLEMENTATION OF PEDESTRIAN MESO MODELS IN PORTUGAL
This report discusses the implementation of a computer model, known as VULCAN, which simulates the crossing behavior of pedestrians. The report considers the transferability of VULCAN to Portugal in three main areas: pedestrian delay/car flow relationships, pedestrian route choice, and usefulness of software.
