LABORATORY TESTED : TRAFFIC RESEARCH LABORATORY ADVANCES ITS

This article describes the Traffic Research Laboratory, developed by the U. S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in order to establish an advanced facility which can be used to support and test research activities in the Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) program. The article provides the background to the project and current status.
