A NEW APPROACH ON THE VEHICLE ROUTING BY GENETIC ALGORITHMS

This paper proposes the use of genetic algorithms (GA), using a new crossover operator, for vehicle routing problems. Experiments performed on a digital road map show that the new GA is superior to the heuristic algorithm.
