INCREASED ACCURACY OF MOTOR VEHICLE POSITION ESTIMATION BY UTILISING MAP DATA, VEHICLE DYNAMICS AND OTHER INFORMATION SOURCES
This paper presents a map-aided position estimation system to improve position estimation of a motor vehicle. The process, within a well defined mathematical framework, allows map information and other sources of position information to be optimally incorporated.
