ELECTRONIC TOLL COLLECTION : CURRENT AND FUTURE USES, AND IMPACT ON THE WORK FORCE

This paper briefly discusses implementation plans for an automated toll collection system and the impact on the toll authority's workforce and describes a toll conversion employee program. The document also contains a report titled "Toll Collection Alternatives Study" which was prepared for the Maine Turnpike Authority.
