NAVIGATION AIDS AND INTELLIGENT VEHICLE-HIGHWAY SYSTEMS
This is an overview of automobile navigation technologies, including radiopositioning, dead reckoning, digital road maps, and map matching. It then gives examples of different navigation systems. The discussion concludes with a brief section on other Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems (IVHS) systems and services.
