DEVELOPMENT OF A 60 GHZ RADAR FOR REAR-END COLLISION AVOIDANCE
This paper presents a method of improving detection performance in collision avoidance systems while using millimeter-wave radar systems. A new algorithm is used for digital signal processing and a beam steering method for curved roads. This results in improvements against false detections of unnecessary objects and failures in detecting necessary objects.
