MANAGING FOR SUCCESS

This article recommends four short precepts as key contributors to smart Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems (IVHS) project management: 1) Adopt a project management mindset; 2) Develop SMART (Specific Measurable, Assignable, Realistic, and Time-related) project objectives; 3) Establish a single point of command; and, 4) Find the right project manager.
