SAFE AND EFFECTIVE MOBILITY IN EUROPE : THE CONTRIBUTION OF PROMETHEUS PROGRAMME

This paper begins with a discussion of the general framework of the PROMETHEUS program, with focus on output functions and tactical targets. This is followed by a description of the Common European Demonstrators which give experimental validation of the functions. A brief discussion of the benefits offered by PROMETHEUS are described followed by a discussion of future implementation aspects. The paper concludes with information on the interaction of PROMETHEUS with DRIVE and ERTICO.
