DYNAMIC TRAFFIC SIMULATION FOR CONTROLLING TRAFFIC FLOW

This paper describes a method for managing traffic flow on roads. The authors present a road traffic simulator which simulates the Q-V relation, which means the average velocity on a link is determined by the quantity of the traffic flow nonlinearly. Using this simulator the authors evaluated an actual traffic network both with and without the traffic information.
