ARCHITECTURES FOR IN-VEHICLE NAVIGATION SYSTEMS DISPLAYING REAL TIME TRAFFIC CONDITION INFORMATION

This paper describes a number of dynamic in-vehicle navigation and route guidance system architectures and classifies their properties. Five typical architectures are described for exogenous systems and three endogenous system architectures are described.
