THE OSU DEMO '97 VEHICLE
This paper focuses on the Ohio State University Demo '97 automated vehicle demonstration. It involved two fully automated cars and showed autonomous behavior with a third manual car. The demonstration also showed how a radar reflective stripe that was placed on the roadway for steering purposes was able to provide an alternative technology to using magnets.
