DESIGNING TUNNEL LININGS ON THE BASE OF THEIR APPLICATION FIELDS DETERMINATION
A new approach to tunnel linings design consisting of the determining the structure application field, i.e. the ultimate depth on which the lining considered possesses the necessary bearing capacity in different soil conditions is proposed in the paper. That approach allows the requirements to the accuracy of determining the soil deformation modulus to be decreased.
