PREDICTION OF FREQUENCY CONTENT IN TRAIN INDUCED GROUND VIBRATIONS BASED ON A BEAM-ON-WINKLER-FOUNDATION MODEL
A method is presented for predicting the frequency content in train induced ground vibrations. This method is based on a beam-on-Winkler-foundation model and has, when compared with actual measurements, shown to be able to predict the frequency content in train induced ground vibrations close to the source with very good accuracy.
