INFLUENCE OF COEFFICIENT OF STRESSES CONCENTRATION IN FROEHLICH'S FORMULA UPON CALCULATING THE SETTLEMENT OF WEAK LAYER IN STRATIFIED SOIL
The paper presents an analysis of stress distribution in layered ground. To include different properties of each layer the Froehlich equation was applied for calculation of vertical component of stress. Depending on Froehlich's coefficient different stress distribution has been obtained. As a consequence of this different settlement of weak sublayer were also calculated.
