AN INCREMENTAL APPROACH TO HIGH SPEED GROUND TRANSPORTATION
This paper promotes the possibility of achieving high speed ground transportation using an incremental approach. It is suggested that a modest amount of coordination between the maglev and Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems (IVHS) would result in substantial mutual benefit, making incremental solutions for both concepts increasingly realistic and attractive.
