AUTOPOLIS, AUTOMATIC POLICING AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS : FINAL REPORT
This study reports on the AUTOPOLIS (Automatic Policing Information Systems) project. The general objective of the project is to determine the possibilities of, and the requirements for implementing policing information systems that can: 1) detect a limited number of safety- relevant traffic violations, 2) provide feedback to the driver when a traffic offense is being committed, and 3) register traffic law violations that may occur.
