CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK FOR GENERIC INTELLIGENT DRIVER SUPPORT
In this report the concept of Generic Intelligent Driver Support (GIDS) is clarified, and the GIDS design philosophy explained; the report is viewed as a statement of principle. The conceptual framework for GIDS is described, and is intended to provide the outline of a protocol for intelligent driver support systems that could become the underpinning for future systems.
