SPEEDY BEAM FABRICATION PUTS I-95 BACK ON LINE
A tanker truck crash in late May 1998 produced an inferno so great that the steel superstructure on the Interstate 95 bridge over Chester Creek in southeastern Pennsylvania was left sagging. High Steel Structures responded to an emergency contract, working around the clock, and had replacement beams to the site within 2 weeks. The $3.5 million repair job was completed on June 29, 16 days ahead of schedule.
