NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF A FULL SCALE EXPERIMENTAL SOIL NAILED WALL
A finite element analysis of the construction of a full scale experimental soil nailed wall is performed. This paper presents the results of the calculation of soil and facing displacements as well as the tensile forces mobilised in the nails during the first five phases of construction. The results obtained agree well with the field observations and measurements. (A) For the covering abstract see IRRD 898496.
