UNCOVERED PARKING PLACES FOR PASSENGER CARS

A specification is given for average size of parking space for individual cars in uncovered car parks. Because of the large differences in the dimensions of cars it is not possible to allocate for each car sufficient space to accommodate the largest car. However, large cars can use space left over by smaller cars. With this specification, parking manoeuvres will be possible and a minimum area will be used. /TRRL/
