CURRENT ROAD CONSTRUCTION PRACTICE IN NORTHERN SASKATCHEWAN
Current methods of road location, design, and construction used in Northern Saskatchewan are reviewed. Special features such as silty soil, organic terrain, permafrost, rock outcrops, corrosion of culverts, and location of aggregate supplies are discussed. Finally, information on the construction and utilization of ice roads is presented.
