FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF PRIMARY AND SECONDARY CONSOLIDATION
In this paper a finite element formulation for a two phase soil with a viscoelastic skeleton is developed. A method of integration is proposed which considerably reduces the body of hereditary information necessary to carry forward the solution and it is shown that under certain circumstances this integration method is unconditionally stable.(a) /TRRL/
