HIGHWAY 69 STUDY

As part of its planning for the future, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications is studying the main north-south corridor of Highways 103 and 69 which is the Georgian Bay route of the Trans-Canada Highway. Previous Provincial Area Studies indicate that this corridor will require a divided arterial highway which can be converted eventually to a freeway, comparable to Highway 400 south of Barrie. This Study Report forms a part of an overall corridor evaluation which is being carried out to determine the route for this facility.
