ACE. ACCIDENT COUNTERMEASURE EVALUATION SYSTEM OVERVIEW
The objective of ACE is to evaluate accident countermeasures for decision-making; its approach is unique in that computerized methods make evaluation fast and accurate. It is capable of producing reports for specified urban and rural locations or areas for specified time periods. Its output reports can be of the following five types: (1) Before-after reports; (2) Location comparison reports; (3) Baseline information; (4) Accident listings; and (5) Before-after study on improvement codes.
