AN ANALYSIS OF MOTORCYCLE SIDE IMPACT
An experimental investigation was made into the severity of injuries experienced by motorcycle riders when their machine is hit from the side by an automobile. A series of six impact tests was conducted using an instrumented dummy to obtain acceleration readings of head and chest, and bending forces on upper and lower leg bones. /Author/
