NEW MODELS FOR INTERMODAL TRAFFIC SPLIT, BASED ON AMERICAN RESEARCH
NEUE MODAL-SPLIT-MODELLE UNTER BESONDERER BERUECKSICHTIGUNG AMERIKANISCHER UNTERSUCHUNGEN
The author describes the various types of models; aggregated, disaggregated, and integrated. He studies their advantages and drawbacks; in conclusion, he lists the conditions which a model must fulfil if it is to be usable. All undue complications are avoided. These conditions describe disaggregated and integrated models based upon the typology of transport users, demonstrating the supply-demand interface, and showing their sensitivity to the characteristics parameters of the supply.
