MOVEMENT OF NON-STATIONARY AIR IN UNDERGROUND TUNNELS. AN APPROXIMATION METHOD FOR EVALUATING AIR CURRENTS
DIE INSTATIONAERE LUFTSTROEMUNG IN U-BAHN-TUNNELN. EINE NAEHERUNGSLOESUNG ZUR BARECHNUNG DES ANFACHVORGANGES
Equations can be obtained for evaluating air currents produced by trains in tunnels by means of an approximation method of evaluating the increase in speed of an underground trainset as the driver accelerates after stopping in a tunnel. The results of calculations have been compared against results obtained from measurements and both coincide with each other.
