CARGO HANDLING TOWARDS 2001

While West German industry is able to offer a complete range of equipment for materials handling and transportation, there is nonetheless a concern for designs to meet future handling requirements. Based on the assumption that demands for more rapid handling will increase and that existing transport modes will be unable to meet schedule requirements, universities throughout the country are supported by industry and government to investigate and devise potential new handling and transportation systems.
