PULSED CAVITATION RESISTANCE TESTING
IMPULSNI KAVITACNI ZKOUSKY
It is shown that the real conditions encountered in hydraulic systems and devices can best be simulated in the laboratory by pulsed cavitation tests. After evaluating these pulsed tests and comparing them with the conventional constant cavitation tests, the author explains how their reliability and efficiency can be additionally improved. Results of cavitation tests of three different types of steel are presented and compared.
