OIL TANKER DISASTERS
A research team from the University of South Carolina has spent two years investigating the effects of massive oil spills at sea. The scientists have developed a system for pinpointing which environmental areas are most susceptible to oil damage. They also have developed a great deal of firsthand information on tanker disasters from the tip of South Amercia to the coast of Portugal.
