YOUNG PEDESTRIAN BEHAVIOR
In a study undertaken for the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, students in sections of the Eastern United States were observed walking to school and were then surveyed regarding behavior and the underlying knowledge associated with their habits as pedestrians. The results of the study may serve as the basis for future accident reduction programs. /Author/
