ANALYSIS OF PAVEMENT SERVICEABILITY
The traffic loadings and intensities to which container parks are subjected are probably more severe than those applied to any other type of pavement. This fact has been made apparent during the last ten years in Australia, where during the early stages of containerisation pavement failures have occurred which have affected container handling operations and caused excessively high maintenance and repair costs.
