NATIONAL PORT DEVELOPMENT IN THE PHILIPPINES

The article states the objectives of the national port plan for the years 1974-1977, undertaken at a capital cost of 70 million dollars. Shipping pattern, financing and technical assistance are discussed, and principal portsworks of the program, and port infrastructure development are dealt with. A description of the development work at 12 major ports is included.
