THE LATEST MARINE REHEAT PROPULSION PLANT
The paper is divided into three parts: boiler, turbine, and automation. The first section deals with water circulation, water purity, heat distribution and high temperature corrosion. Materials, steam temperature control, fan- and pump operation and reduced power operation are also discussed under this section. The section on turbine deals mainly with thermal stresses and distortion, and the section on automation deals with maintenance and electronics.
