REPEATED LOADING OF COMPOSITE BEAMS
Tests are described of push-out specimens and simply-supported composite T-beams incorporating 19 mm velded studs and subjected to repeated loading. The push-out specimens are subjected to both constant amplitude and variable amplitude loading, and the beams to variable amplitude loading only. The progressive failure of the beams is examined and predictions are made using the simple cumulative damage rule. The effect of slip is included in the computation of forces acting on the studs. /Author/
