STATISTICAL APPRAISAL OF THE MEASURED DEFORMATIONS IN SEVERAL STEEL BOX GIRDER BRIDGES

Results obtained from an exhaustive survey of the imperfections in the component parts of steel box girder bridges are summarized. An appraisal is made of compliance with the Merrison Interim Design Rules, and tolerances are suggested.
