Report of research carried out under the auspices of the 8th Committee of the OSJD by Bulgarian, Hungarian, GDR, Polish, Soviet and Czech railways. Recommendations refer manufacture and metallurgical composition of contact wires, pantograph slippers, design of catenaries and pantographs, measurement of the pantograph contact pressure and wear of contact wires.
