STUDY ON STERN TUBE SEALING SYSTEM
The deformation of sealing ring, pressure fluctuation, and temperature on the sliding surface were studied. In each case, test method and apparatus, theoretical analysis and test results are described. The present sectional shape of the sealing rings was found to be very effective.
