ELASTIC-PLASTIC DEFORMATIONS IN PLANE FRAMES
The article presents a numerical procedure for the analysis of plane frames of an elastic, perfectly plastic, material. The problem is seen as a quadratic programming type and an algorithm is given for the solution which allows the analysis of frames in the elastic-plastic range. The analysis can be applied to either steel or reinforced concrete frames within the range of acceptable hinge rotations. /TRRL/
