NON-INTERACTING CONTROL OF A STRING OF MOVING VEHICLES
The theory of non-interacting control is utilised in this paper to formulate a method of regulating a string of moving vehicles in a low speed high capacity automated transit system. The resulting scheme needs fewer communication links and simplifies merging and demerging of vehicles. The method is illustrated by analogue computer simulation results for the case of a string of four vehicles. (A). /TRRL/
