THIS BETTER CAR WILL RUN AND RUN. NEW DESIGN FOR THE MOTOR CAR
A brief description is given of a patented invention (bp 1472471) which aims to redesign the motor car by making it simpler and safer. The conventional wheels of the car are replaced by huge elastic circles arranged on each side of the chassis, each running round a track of guide rollers. The rollers are power driven by a petrol engine or electric motor and spin the tyre rings to propel the car along. The advantages are listed and include improved road holding and comfort. /TRRL/
