CINCINNATI REGIONAL AIRPORT
Lighting for the Cincinnati Regional Airport features the use of 1000-watt metal halide low-brightness luminaires for the main parking area and 400-watt high-pressure sodium lamps for the roadways. In the terminals, baggage claim buildings, and concourses a newly developed mercury lamp with good color rendering ability is used in conjunction with a Fresnel lens downlight with broad light beam distribution. To provide the required emergency lighting in these areas, some of the luminaires are equipped with an automatic relay and an auxiliary tungsten halogen lamp.
